Hello-I’m Macy! They believe I am 8 years old. I’m about 48 pounds and a mix breed. Nobody knows what my history was before I got to the shelter, but I’ve had a busy past few months. I was taken to the Maricopa county shelter on Christmas Eve. My back leg was broken in multiple places. I was in so much pain, but I was still the perfect girl. My Foster mom picked me up 3 days later and I got my leg amputated 2 days after that. Since then, I’ve had 2 more surgeries and I am finally all healed and ready to find my forever family. I have been a happy edition to my Foster family. I have a best friend there named Olive. I love to run around with her, lay in the sun and cuddle up with my Foster mom. I am potty trained, know how to use a doggy door (though I do love when my Foster mom opens the door for me), I am crate trained, but I don’t need it. My Foster mom just lets me hang out on a dog bed in another room when she has some of the other dogs out. I have recently been playing with another female dog and am doing great with her. I’m not 100% sure about male dogs, but am willing to try it out. I’m just a happy girl looking for someone to love.
