Description
Bodie is between 2-3 years old, and once he warms up, he is a total love bug and goofball. He was rescued from the E-list as he was being given up on due to a dislocated right hip and not doing well at the shelter. Since being in his foster home, he had orthopedic surgery to fix his hip and he’s good as new! Sometimes he still favors his left leg, but it’s just out of habit as he’d suffered from a dislocated hip for quite some time before he was rescued. Bodie was also recently neutered, so he’s ready for his forever home! He has lived with his foster mom and has improved tremendously since his first day. Bodie has proven to be quite the lover boy and thinks he belongs in her lap! He loves lying on his back as a not-so-subtle reminder that he’s a BIG fan of belly rubs! He also loves treats and gobbles carrots up like nobody’s business! While in foster he has not been around other dogs or cats, so his reaction unknown. But he has shown that he loves his person and can be protective, so only older kids are recommended and a slow introduction to new people. This boy is just the perfect size at 60 lbs, he loves walks, and rides in the car like a champ and loves it! He would do great in a home that is not too chaotic, and a meet and great should be required if there would be any dog siblings he’d inherit.
