Description: My name is Dumpling. They think I am between 7 months-1 year old. I came from the county shelter completely scared of my own shadow. I have been slowly learning to be brave, but new people, places and things still scare me. So, slow introductions and exposure to new things will be important for me. I have been taking training classes with my Foster mom to help with some unwelcome behaviors and I am a star student. I learn quickly and am happy to learn more. I currently know how to walk on a leash, sit, place, and down when using the techniques taught by my trainer. I have recently figured out how to use the doggy door. I am mostly potty trained, but still have some accidents in my kennel if I’m left too long without a potty break. I am dog friendly with slow introductions, but overly excited once I get to know them. Some dogs may not respond well to my enthusiasm, but it’s hard to control my excitement. I currently live with an 8 year old boy who I adore, but it took a bit for me to feel comfortable around him. Please make sure that all kid introductions are very slow. I am a very happy and loving girl who will make an amazing addition to any family willing to help me continue my training. My puppy dog eyes will make you fall head over heels in love with me!
