Gigabyte may have had his heart broken when he was left at the shelter, but every day in foster care he’s learning to trust again—and it’s been incredible to watch. He’s looking for a patient, understanding home that will give him the time he needs to feel safe. A slower-paced environment would be ideal, and a work-from-home adopter would be a perfect match while he continues to build confidence. Despite his past, Gigabyte is a happy, loving boy. He has a soft, gentle nature and once he feels secure, his personality really shines. When he gets excited—especially over a treat he loves—he’ll break into the cutest zoomies as his way of saying thank you. Gigabyte is both kennel trained and potty trained. He enjoys car rides just as much as walks and trips to the dog park. He gets along well with other dogs and has been gently introduced to cats. He’s more curious than reactive—he may bark at first, but quickly settles and enjoys their presence (he especially loves lounging by the patio door watching them). He’s also a great companion for a work-from-home environment—he’s calm, quiet, and doesn’t interrupt the workday. Gigabyte just needs someone willing to give him a little time… and in return, he’ll give you a whole lot of love. He is kid friendly with our neighborhood kids. They range from 5 to teens. They look forward to seeing him on his walks.
